Q. What are Bleached Knots? And why do I need it?
When a dark hair is tied to the base of a lace wig with a knot, you can see a dark dot on the skin, especially when the base is lace. Lace cannot hide the knot in the same way a monofilament base does. Bleached knots usually are only done at the front of the lace wig and it helps create the illusion that your hair is growing out of your head.
Q. If I buy a wig can I return it if I don't like it?
YES. IF YOU DON??T WEAR IT , and the extra lace can’t be cut off. Or Due to hygiene reasons, lace wigs cannot be resold once they have been worn and the lace has been cut.
Q. How long can the lace wig last?
Most lace wigs can last 1 to 2 years with proper care. The most durable lace is French lace which lasts longer than the Swiss lace which is thinner and finer.

Remy hair is a superior human hair grade that is collected from one hair donor. The cuticle layer of the hair remains in tack, therefore the hair is silky soft with a subtle wave pattern. The hair is then hand-tied to a wig in the same direction as it is on a human head. The look of the lace wig is very natural, and easy to manage with proper care.
Q. Is it okay to get the lace wig wet while swimming?
It is ok for the lace wig to get wet; you can even go swimming with it. Before swimming, please verify that your adhesive is waterproof. Also, do not go swimming until after your application has dried for at least 8 hours. Before swimming, place the hair on the wig in a low ponytail. This will help ensure the hair does not tangle from the chlorine while swimming. After swimming, you may need to wash and condition the wig. WARNING: swim at your own risk as chlorine may have an adverse effect on your wig.
Q. What color lace is best suited to my skin tone?
The color of lace depends on a lot of factors. First and foremost, the best applications are usually camouflaged by makeup at the hairline and where the hair is parted. This is truly how you get a natural appearance because even though lace blends with the skin, certain lighting conditions can show the lace.
Most women prefer to get a lace close to their skin tone, this is the best option if you don't want to experiment with using makeup (concealer) to camouflage the lace, then it's best to select a shade that blends with your skin tone. If you plan to use makeup, then you should select a shade close to, or lighter than, your own.

Q. Which is better, French or Swiss lace?
It really is a matter of preference. Swiss lace is finer, and more fragile, than French lace. Swiss lace blends better with the skin for a less visible appearance. French lace is slightly thicker and more durable. Both lace types can be tinted different shades of brown to blend with a variety of complexions.
Q. Can I wear this wig even if I have my own hair?
Yes. You will have to make your own hair as flat as possible, by wrapping or braiding it. Then apply a flesh toned stocking cap over your natural hair to simulate your scalp color.
Q. What is the difference between a Full Lace wig and a regular wig?
A lace wig, also called a lace "unit" or "hair system" are hair extensions that create the illusion that hair is growing out of one's scalp, and therefore is the most natural looking extensions on the market. This is achieved by the method of the lace wig construction. A fine lace material is used as the base where individual hairs are meticulously hand tied onto the lace. The term 'full lace' denotes that the base cap is made fully of lace, while 'lace front' wigs have lace in front and different materials at the back of the cap. .

Q. Is Full lace wig a front lace wig?
No, an Full lace is far superior than a front lace wig. While only the base of a front lace wig has lace in the front of the wig, an Invisiwig has its entire base made of lace. This makes the wig much more time consuming to make but also makes it look more lightweight and real. An Invisiwig is far more flexible than a front lace wig in terms of styling. It can be parted anywhere and can also be worn in a high ponytail whereas a front lace wig cannot.
Q. Can I wear lace wigs if I have a full head of hair?
Absolutely! One can braid/cornrow, twist, wrap, or flatten hair to prepare for application. The main objective is to get one's hair as flat as possible for the most natural look.

Yes, you can wear your wig in a high ponytail once you apply around your full perimeter with adhesives. You will need a cap construction that is made with lace around the perimeter.
Q. Can I part my lace wig and where can lace wigs be parted?
Lace wigs can be parted anywhere on the cap! If you are covering your hair, the trick is to have your parts look natural by either wearing a stocking or wig cap that is close to your skin's color. Some clients can even get a natural looking part without wearing a wig cap.
Q. Can I color the wig?
Your Invisiwig is 100% human hair so it can be treated as such. You can color or style it in any way. However, additional color processing is generally not recommended since it can damage the hair and should only be attempted by experienced stylists.
Q. Can the hair be flat ironed or curled?
The hair is 100% human hair that can withstand household styling tools such as curling irons and flat irons. You can wash, set, and style the wig as you would your own hair. But like your natural hair, the hair can get damaged with the misuse and overuse of products.
Q. If I order a wig with wavy texture, can i straighten it (or vice versa)

Q. How long will my wig last?
Your lace front wig can last for many years depending on the upkeep and usage of the wig. We provide you with full care instructions free with every wig purchase.
Q. What else will I need to order with the wig?
You will need to order your adhesive and adhesive remover at the minimum to put the unit on. Depending on the adhesive, the lace wig may stay intact for 2-4weeks at time.
Q. How do I attach or wear the wig?
The wigs are fairly easy to attach. 95% of our customers attach the units themselves. Some glues also come with an Instructional DVD that shows you step by step how to put the wig on. The lace wig will need to be attached with adhesive glue or tape. The glue and tape is not placed in your hair, so it will not damage your own hair. Youtube has some videos that can be helful, just search "lace wig application"
Q. How long can I wear my wig at a time?
Your extended wear will depend on what adhesives you use, your body chemistry and how your skin responds to the adhesives, and how frequently you wish to re-apply. We stress that it is important for you to be mindful of your hair and scalp condition underneath during extended wear. Most clients achieve a 1-2 week hold with the right adhesive, washing and nurturing their own hair in between applications. If you are bald or have significant hair loss, you are likely to achieve a much longer hold.
Q. What density should I order and why does it matter?
The density refers to how thick the hair is and what density you order is really based on personal choice. Most women achieve a natural appearance with light to medium or medium density; however, your choice will depend on your styling preferences and individual profile
Q. Can I have a style or color made that is not currently shown in your gallery?
Yes, our catalog is being continually updated so not every available style is represented on the site. We offer customization at reasonable prices. Please send us your photos and detailed information on how you would like your wig made and we will provide you with a quote!
Q. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes however we only offer a payment plan for custom wigs only. When you order an custom lace wig, you will be required to pay a half deposit. Once the wig is completed in 20 days, the remaining balance of the wig will be charged and the wig will be shipped to you. If you order an in stock unit, complete payment is required before your order can be shipped
